4th of July Pictures

On 4th of July we packed the kids up and went to watch our hometown 4th of July parade, which Brian and I both were in during our high school years. We then spent the day at my parents' house. We bbq'd and the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. We lit some sparklers in the backyard before walking over to the lake to watch the city's fireworks show. We had a great family day...hope you enjoy the pictures! :)

Our 4th of July was the first day that the kids went all day without a nap, except for about 20 minutes in the car. And to my surprise they were so well behaved. There was so much to do I guess they didn't want to close their eyes and miss it. We tried a few times to put them down for a nap at my parents' house but they just didn't want to. It wasn't until 9 o'clock at night when we put them in the triple stroller to walk over to the park to watch fireworks that Joey and Riley finally passed out. Kayla still didn't want to sleep until we got in the car around 10pm to go home. Needless to say they slept in Sunday morning...yay!
