Chaperoning Prom

Saturday night myself and 6 other math teachers chaperoned the high school prom. We go every year, only girls no husbands. We go to dinner first and then our "job" at prom is to count the ballots for king and queen. It is alot of fun. This year we went to Olive Garden for dinner and prom was held at the American Cultural Way Center which is actually the place that I went to a winter formal at during high school, that was weird.
This my friend Megan who I work with.

These are 4 other teachers, Rachea, Alma, Margot, and Patti.
Andrea, Megan, and I at dinner. One of my current students.

Two of my current Geometry students. I don't know why my boobs look so big here, they didn't look like that all night, trust me. :)

Two of my former students. They are seniors now but I had them their freshman, sophomore, and junior years for math.

Lindsay's growing up!

Here is the latest that Lindsay is up to....

1. She is walking around everywhere, doesn't like to be held much, just wants to walk.

2. She says a few words, one of them she just started saying Thursday. If you ask her how big she is she says "So big"

3. She can tell you what a cow, dog, cat, duck, and pig say.

The time just goes by too fast! I can't wait for summer to enjoy my time with her more!

She is learning early how to use her phone!! She walks around the house, holding it like a boombox, blabbering to herself. So cute!

The other day I found her in the barstool "playing". She got herself in there somehow but couldn't get out!

Lindsay's 1st trip to Disneyland

Two weeks ago Lindsay went to Disneyland for the first time. While she still doesn't understand what is really going on, I like to think she had a fun time. Lindsay and I went with my mom, dad, sister-n-law, and nephew. My dad bought this hat for Lindsay and she actually liked wearing it.
The characters didn't scare her, she just had a look on her face like "what is this huge thing?"

Lindsay relaxing with her shades on.

Again, Lindsay is expressionless as we ride Dumbo. But I am sure she liked it, I really am.

Wow...its been awhile

Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. Life has been pretty busy and hectic. I feel like I spend most of my day in my car driving than at home. So I have some catching up to do...hope it was worth the wait.
